Privacy Policy
At Blue Astra Bookkeeping, we respect your privacy and understand the importance of protecting the information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, how we use it, and how it is handled.
Effective date: October 30, 2026
This policy applies to blueastrabookkeeping.com and to the inquiries and consultation requests made through it. It doesn’t cover the financial records or account access clients share after hiring Blue Astra. How that information is shared and handled is discussed during onboarding.
Information we collect
Information you give us through the contact form:
- Your name
- Your business name, if you provide it
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you provide it
- The service you’re interested in
- Your message
Information you give when booking a consultation. Our booking page is run by Google (see “Consultation scheduling” below). It asks for your name, email address, phone number, and business name, along with answers to the other questions on the booking form.
Information you send us by email. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
Technical information. Like most websites, this site can’t be delivered without your browser sharing some basic technical details, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page you requested. These details are received by the services that make the site work:
- The company that hosts this website, which may keep standard server logs.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the fonts used on this site.
- Web3Forms and its spam-filtering services, when you submit the contact form.
We don’t use analytics tools, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies on this website.
How we use information
We use the information you share to:
- Respond to your inquiry and answer your questions
- Communicate with you as a prospective client
- Schedule and hold consultations
- Discuss the bookkeeping services you’re interested in and prepare a proposal
- Operate and maintain the website
- Protect the website and our business from spam, misuse, or other security concerns
We don’t use your information for advertising, and we don’t add you to marketing email lists.
Contact form processing (Web3Forms)
Our contact form is processed by Web3Forms, a form-handling service. When you submit the form, your entries are sent securely (over HTTPS) to Web3Forms. Web3Forms then emails them to our business inbox. This means your submission is handled and stored by Web3Forms as well as by us.
According to Web3Forms’ privacy policy:
- It processes form submissions on our behalf, using service providers such as Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare.
- To filter spam, it may send a submitter’s IP address and email address to spam-prevention services (CleanTalk and Akismet).
- It keeps form submission data for up to three years, unless a shorter period applies or the data is deleted sooner.
- It operates from India and uses infrastructure that may process data in more than one country.
For details, see the Web3Forms Privacy Policy.
Consultation scheduling (Google Calendar)
When you click a “Book” button on our website, you’re taken to a booking page hosted by Google Calendar. The details you enter there are collected and processed by Google and added to our Google Calendar so we can hold the appointment. Google may also send you confirmation and reminder emails. Google’s handling of that information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy, which we don’t control.
Business email (Google Workspace)
Our business email runs on Google Workspace. Contact form submissions, emails you send us, and consultation details are received and stored in our Google Workspace account, where we use them to respond to you and manage our business communications.
How information is shared
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the website and our business, and only as needed for them to provide those services:
- Web3Forms and its spam-filtering and infrastructure providers, to deliver contact form messages
- Google, for consultation booking (Google Calendar), business email (Google Workspace), and website fonts (Google Fonts)
- Our website hosting provider, to deliver the website
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with others for their advertising.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or when it’s reasonably necessary to protect our rights, our clients, or others.
How we protect information
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us:
- The contact form sends your information over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
- We use established service providers for email, scheduling, and form handling.
- We ask only for the information needed to respond to your inquiry.
Please don’t send passwords, account numbers, or other sensitive financial information through the contact form, the booking page, or email. No website, email system, or online service is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee the security of information sent to us online.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiries, emails, and consultation details for as long as we reasonably need them to respond to you, follow up about our services, and keep a record of our business communications. If you become a client, related communications may become part of your client records. When we no longer need information, we delete it.
Our service providers keep information under their own policies. For example, Web3Forms keeps form submissions for up to three years, as described above.
Cookies and tracking
Our website doesn’t set its own cookies and doesn’t use analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking tools. We don’t allow other companies to track your activity across websites through our site.
Because we don’t track visitors across websites, our site doesn’t change its behavior in response to “Do Not Track” browser signals.
Third-party services you choose to use, such as the Google booking page, may use their own cookies under their own policies.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can choose not to use our contact form or booking page and email us instead. If you have questions about the personal information you’ve shared with us, or would like us to review, correct, or delete it, email us at [email protected]. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.
We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We may also need to keep some information to meet legal, tax, or recordkeeping obligations. Information held by Web3Forms or Google is also subject to their own processes.
Third-party websites and services
Our website links to services run by other companies, including Google’s booking page. Those services have their own privacy practices, which we don’t control. We encourage you to review their policies:
- Google Privacy Policy (Google Calendar, Google Workspace, Google Fonts)
- Web3Forms Privacy Policy
Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our business practices or website change. When we do, we’ll post the updated version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
